Wife, Mother & Photographer are my three main roles in life {in no particular order}. Our home & studio is in this wonderful nearly a century old building {which was built as a bank in the early 1900's}. We purchased this building back in 2008
moving from a "big" city to the "small" town was a big adjustment {even though I grew up in this town}. But without this change I would have never discovered my true passion in life, photography. My husband, Chris, who is also a photographer {by night} was introduced to photography back in the 80's when he was in high school. It was in 2008 he bought me my first DSLR {my handy dandy rebel}. & the rest is history. I am a true artist in the sense that I always need change. I always need to be learning, creating & being different. I love taking pictures of babies & children for their simple carefree ways. I love taking pictures of women to make them feel beautiful. I love taking pictures of "things" to make art. Is it weird I want to get a film camera? I love intimate sessions - one on one sessions where there's more of a connection. I do not do weddings, reunions or big groups. I would gladly refer you to some great photographers who have a passion for those types of sessions!
